At AIMED Psychology, we believe that every individual has the potential to lead a fulfilling and meaningful life.
Our focus is on neuro-affirming practice and looking at challenges in light of the social model of disability.
We provide targeted recommendations to seek further support such as school funding, special exam consideration for VCE or university, NDIS and workplace accommodations.
Psychological assessment helps to unpack individual strengths and challenges.
I am an Educational and Developmental Psychologist with a strong focus on neuro-affirming practices.
I have worked for many years as a teacher, working with students with disability in a Special School setting and as a Learning Support Teacher in mainstream schools.
I have experienced, first hand, the unique challenges that children and families face when navigating learning and developmental differences and adult presentations of undiagnosed challenges.
I have also worked for an NDIS provider and am able to help you with NDIS assessments, services, and reports.
I work with all ages:
· children and adolescents to help them thrive both at school and in life.
· adults to understand their unique needs and help unpack and make sense of their past.
· older adults to understand the impact of ageing on memory and cognition.
I believe in celebrating neurodiversity and am dedicated to supporting clients in a way that values their individual strengths. By combining my teaching and psychological experience, I create a supportive space where young people and their families and adults can feel understood and empowered. I use evidence based assessments to help with understanding learning difficulties to emotional well-being, always with the goal of helping clients achieve their best with the right supports in place.
